Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the use of the JB Outdoor website and to quotes and building services provided by JB Outdoor Pty Ltd (ABN 66 607 797 866). Detailed terms specific to your project will be set out in your written quote and contract, which prevail over these general terms if there's any inconsistency.

Using this website

The information on this site is provided in good faith and as a general guide. Prices, product details and images are indicative and may change. Nothing on the site is a binding offer; work proceeds only once we've provided a written quote and you've accepted it.

Quotes

Quotes are free and provided in writing after an on-site measure. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days from its date. Quotes are based on the scope, access and conditions observed at the time; if these change, the price may be adjusted by written variation.

Deposits and payment

A deposit may be required to secure your booking and order materials, with progress payments and a final payment as set out in your contract. Payment terms and methods will be confirmed in your quote and contract.

Variations

Any change to the agreed scope — whether requested by you or required by site conditions, council or supply — will be documented as a written variation showing the change and any effect on price and timing before the work goes ahead.

Timelines and delays

We'll give you an estimated timeline in writing. Timelines can be affected by weather, council and certifier approvals, material supply and other matters outside our control. We'll keep you informed and work to minimise any delay.

Site access and your responsibilities

You agree to give us safe, clear access to the work area and to disclose anything relevant to the job, such as the location of services, pipes or cabling. Unless agreed otherwise, you're responsible for obtaining any body corporate, neighbour or covenant consents that apply to your property.

Approvals

Where your project needs council approval or a Complying Development Certificate, we can manage the drawings and paperwork as set out in your quote. Approval is granted by the relevant authority and is not guaranteed by us.

Intellectual property

Designs, drawings and plans we prepare remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing, and may not be used for other projects or by other builders without our permission. Website content is owned by JB Outdoor and may not be reproduced without consent.

Warranties

Our workmanship and materials are covered as described in our Warranty, and by the statutory warranties under the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW).

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant services or the reasonable cost of doing so. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
